Ernest Shackleton, Shackleton-Rowett Expedition on the ship Quest, 1921 - 1922.
1922 - Ernest Shackleton is buried in the Whalers Cemetery, Grytviken, South Georgia having died there at the start of an expedition in the Quest. The service was attended by the managers from all 5 whaling stations, 100 whalers and seamen.
