Ernest Shackleton, Trans Antarctic Expedition on the ship Endurance, 1914 - 1917.
1914 - England. Shackleton is about to set sail on the Endurance Expedition when he reads about the general mobilization for war, after consultation with the crew, he offers the ship and all hands to the Admiralty, 4 hours later he receives a single word answer, "Proceed".
