Robert Falcon Scott, British Antarctic Expedition (South Pole Expedition) on the ship Terra Nova, 1910 - 1913.
1911 - The Terra Nova arrives at Cape Evans, McMurdo Sound, Antarctica during a 24 hour period of calm and sunshine, the ship is unloaded over the next week and a wintering hut built on Ross Island.
