Robert Falcon Scott, British Antarctic Expedition (South Pole Expedition) on the ship Terra Nova, 1910 - 1913.
1910 - "A Gale in the Fifties" - on the Terra Nova. The men on deck are working one of the pumps, the photographer Ponting must be above the deck in the rigging to get this picture.
Ernest Shackleton, Shackleton-Rowett Expedition on the ship Quest, 1921 - 1922.
1922 - The men of the Quest return to South Georgia and build a memorial cairn for Shackleton on a headland at the entrance to Grytviken harbour following his death there 3 months earlier.
