Otto Nordenskjold, Swedish Antarctic Expedition on the ship Antarctic, 1901-1904.
1903 - Andersson, Duse and Grunden, over 6 weeks after being put ashore by the ship Antarctic at Hope Bay accept the ship may not return. They begin to build a stone hut and cache several hundred penguins for food and fuel to prepare for the winter as best they can.
