Robert Falcon Scott, British Antarctic Expedition (South Pole Expedition) on the ship Terra Nova, 1910 - 1913.
Boots for use on glaciers and ice as used on Scott's Terra Nova expedition. The boots are reindeer hide finnesko and would be stuffed with sennegrass (a sedge) and worn with more than one pair of socks. The crampons are a sort-of tied-on canvas half-boot with a spiked sole.
