1911 - Bunks in the expedition hut. l to r: Cherry-Garrard, Bowers, Oates, Meares, Atkinson. The only private spaces the men had, sometimes a blanket curtain would be improvised. Cold weather gear is hung up to allow trapped sweat to dry out in the warmth of the hut.
